Once I started reading, I could not put this book down. It truly changed my life in a positive manner. This was a life altering change. The author gave me hope. Because I am living with a major life altering health issue, she made me realize that God has a plan for me. There is a reason for my life and what He has presented me with. She is an inspiration for every person regardless of his/her life situation or status. Because of this reading, I am a stronger and better person. Thank you for sharing your story. This book was recommended to my friends and me during our weekly art class. I immediately ordered it on my phone because of her description and amazing review of the book. I'm so glad I did! It is one of the most uplifting and reaffirming books I have ever read! The author is such an example of what true grace and faith are all about. It helps you understand what is truly important in life - and what isn't. I'm normally a slow reader and take a long time to read a book, often putting one aside and never finishing it if it doesn't hold my attention. I finished this one in 2 days and immediately gave it to my husband to read, which has also finished. I will recommend this book to all my friends and family and plan to buy more as gifts. It's one of the greatest gifts I could possibly give - the gift of love and faith.
This is a must-read for any and all that encounter challenging and often tragic circumstances along life's journey (that includes all humans.) Nasrin makes a point not to preach to the reader, but instead gives her heartfelt, true story of how she nearly fell into a life of despair following her accident. The author then goes about showing us how she instead "chose" a life of JOY, peace. and faith. I will return to this book and share with others who will greatly appreciate the courage and inspiration captured here in the words of this remarkable author.

This book truly changed my overall daily perspective. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book for anyone interested in or struggling with pain or hardships of any kind in their lives or in the lives of loved ones. This is a beautiful story of how God can bring glory through devastating hardships. This book is powerful and was so inspiring to me. Suffering through physical ailments and pain myself this book helped me to see A. God can bring good out of terrible hardships. B. The pain and restrictions I have had to accept in my own life are not the worst. Pity can be very hard to get rid of when so much is taken away. This book helped me let go of that pity. C. There is a way of finding joy and freedom even after you feel so much has been taken away. The author is a hero to me. Her story is just beautiful! Her story truly represents Him turning ashes into beauty. People want to love God after life changing hardships, but sometimes cant see past their tears or feeling like He has betrayed them. If we just continue to walk with Him, trust in Him and give it all to Him, He will provide peace, joy and freedom we never thought we could have again.
